Chester Pike`s Galley in Sullivan

Great diner. Came back twice for the waffle with blueberry topping and side of bacon & egg.

GOOD food! This place seems to stay open all year, no seasonal outages far as I know.. I went to Chester Pike's twice with my father on his first trip up north from Florida. We were both impressed by the food two days in a row. I ordered the fish reuben and my dad had a cheeseburger the first day, and on the second I had a burger, and he had one of the breakfast options that are available all day. We had different waitress' each day with great service. Thanks for the food and being OPEN! Will be back to Chester Pike's for some grub on the next trip up.

Wicked good Reubin , corn chowder and coffee lunch. I try to visit every time my travels take me past Chester Pikes. Great service and a perfect rest stop. You otta give it a try.

Very good food, not a single bland item on the menu. Your typical happy family go-to place where you can't find a nicer staff, well managed and very sanitary.

One little nook that you must visit if in Sullivan Maine. Great good & yummy desserts.

Incredible food, generous portions, and a welcoming atmosphere. The service was very friendly, and we enjoyed getting a good breakfast after enjoying the sunrise at Schoodic Point. We added our photo under the tabletop -- what a fun tradition!

There isn't a bad choice on the menu! And they keep coffee in the dessert case so it's cold for iced coffee!!

Maine seafood and hospitality at its best.

My husband and I stopped here for breakfast on a long road trip. We each had the Chester fries with meat and egg choices and were very happy to find all of their bread is homemade, including the cinnamon raisin bread which we chose. Everything was truly excellent eat.Waitresses were pleasant and attentive even though they were extremely busy.

Local fare as well as local favorite. This is one of the best places to eat in this area. Just dessert or large plate meal, I have been pleased at every visit.

Always friendly service when we stop there. Oh and the food is good too!

Honest good food

My husband and I went here twice on our vacation. Each time we had very friendly service, and the food was great. We had tried a few other places around, and felt this was by far the best. My husband really enjoyed the biscuits and gravy.

I had the blueberry pancakes for breakfast. They were excellent. Had a side of their special homefries, also very good. The staff was very nice.

Tasty, reliable DownEast cooking, and good coffee, too! Go there for the breakfasts (excellent blueberry muffins this morning), or for lunch and the chowder. The staff are always so friendly.

Staff was friendly. Food ok. Although they have veggie sausage, I would not say it is vegetarian friendly. I got a bite of bacon in my potatoes and hadn't been warned that they would be fried in bacon grease. I got three veggie sausage links for $4.50.

Stopped for breakfast and one of the best I ever had. Such friendly people and service was beyond great!! Was also lucky enough to witness and cheer on the Wreaths Across America as they went by!

Home away from home! Glad we only have to go a few miles to get there! Wish it were open in the winter, but these wonderful hard working folk need and deserve time off.

We had an awesome breakfast before leaving the area. My hubby had the special -- a hash and cheese omelet. I had one of Chester Pike's Favorites -- veggie breakfast sandwich. Egg, spinach, mushrooms, tomatoes and cheddar cheese. All fresh and oh-so-tasty! We will definitely be back next time we're in the area.We had lunch a couple days ago. It, too, was good. The staff are friendly and professional. We didn't have to wait and were served promptly. If you are anywhere near here, do your tastebuds a favor, and stop in.

Chester Pike's is, hands-down, the best food in Downeast Maine. They have great seafood, fantastic desserts, luscious breakfast fare. The highlights include homemade donuts, fish fry, Pike's pasta, stuffed French toast, blueberry pancakes, and turkey pot pie. They offer a wide array of yummy desserts. Enjoy!

One of my favorite little places to stop while we are in Maine. Highly recommend the corned beef hash on Sundays!

Nice service, food was fresh, hot, and tasty. Not to mention the short wait. The price is very decent for Maine and the portions were quite large. Definitely going to visit again!

My wife's salad was made with romaine cuts and tomato slices most of us would have composted.

Small, homey and nautical themed restaurant on the way to downeast Maine. Excellent variety, including local seafood, homemade breads, pastries and donuts. The portions are generous and delicious. Local paintings, pottery and photography available for sale.
